Medical and emergency professionals at Pantex and Y-12 have been carefully following guidance related to COVID-19. CNS is taking protective actions and implementing preventive measures. Here’s a short video showing the steps CNS is taking at both sites.

CNS signs first mentor-protégé agreement at Pantex
The Mentor-Protégé agreement with SAMES is the first of its kind at Pantex for CNS, which operates the plant for DOE's National Nuclear Security Administration.
CNS provides STEM grant to Rhea County High School
CNS recently provided a $2,500 #STEM donation to help career and technical education at Rhea Co. High School purchase a CNC machining tool. This tool will allow engineering students to move beyond designs to actual production of a part.
Y-12 receives Voluntary Protection Program Star of Excellence Award
Y-12 recently received the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star of Excellence Award from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). VPP promotes safety and health excellence through cooperative efforts among labor, management, and government at DOE contractor sites.
