Vice President, Business Management & Transformation

Ed Rogers is the vice president of Business Management & Transformation for Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC, which is responsible for the management and operation of the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas, and the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. In this role, he oversees the following organizations: Finance & Business Operations, Transformation, Contracts, Human Resources, Information Solutions & Services, Merger & Cost Savings, and Savings Reinvestment. He is responsible for facilitating continuous improvement savings tracking processes in financial systems and is responsible for driving delivery of a common CNS enterprise resources planning platform.

In his most recent role, Rogers was the Bechtel Project Director responsible for leading the Bechtel team under contract to assist the Defense Equipment and Support Agency of the UK Ministry of Defense in the transformation of its delivery model.

From 2011 to 2014, Rogers was the Manager of Contracts & Procurement for Bechtel Systems and Infrastructure, Inc., an $8 billion enterprise that executes work for federal customers within the Bechtel group of companies.

Rogers also previously served as the program manager responsible for Bechtel’s Cooperative Threat Reduction business with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. In this role, he was responsible for execution of multiple construction, demilitarization, and biological threat reduction projects within several countries of the Former Soviet Union. Additionally, Rogers was previously the deputy project manager on the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant project and the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant project. In those roles, he was responsible for first-of-a-kind equipment design and fabrication, systemization and operations, science and technology, financial and business management, human resources, information systems and technology, and contracts functions. Rogers began his career with Bechtel as the contracts manager in the permanent office at Tyson’s Corner, Virginia.

Rogers holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Florida Metropolitan University and is a certified Project Management Professional and a certified Professional Contracts Manager.
